Sleet and rain yesterday. This morning dawned dull and gloomy…
… but it soon turned into the magic of fog.
Out I went into the wetlands again and did the big zoom panning thing to see what I came up with.
Dwarf birch leaves glow like embers against the mist.
Fluffy variable willow seed is spangled with water.
A lone aspen stands guard over the carpet of dwarf birches.
There are grassy knolls up against the wetlands. The fall is such a textural time of year.
I have not yet learned the names of the grasses, but they are all beautiful.
Chris your photos are awesome! Me thinks you might have a new business with photos LOL… I love Freeman Patterson to and I have tried some of his zooming and moving tricks..I slow the shutter speed and move the camera etc… It is fun….
