Robert Frost’s epic poem.

I think it’s appropriate to air Robert Frost’s epic poem in these political times

Fire and Ice

BY ROBERT FROST

Some say the world will end in fire,

Some say in ice.

From what I’ve tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

Is also great

And would suffice.

  1. An insightful poet, he was. I’ve been thinking of this one, these days:
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
    (Dylan Thomas)
