I was down in the Bella Coola Valley for 5 days. Most of the time it rained.
Katie and Dennis’s property at Stuie houses four cabins drowned in trees.
The rain put a sheen on the fall colours in the underbrush.
The forest here is very different from that around Ginty Creek. Huge firs, cedars and hemlocks dominate.
The closeup abstracts that I photographed reflected the gloom.
The sun poked through occasionally. One morning I was lucky enough to catch the sunrise light on Mt Supendous as it appeared briefly among the clouds.
hi chris. Just wondered if you will be coming anywhere near nanaimo on your fall trip this year, it would be great to meet you.
That last picture looks like it wasn’t taken on our planet 🙂
