On a walk round “The Block” near Nuk Tessli this morning (takes about an hour) I found the first Northern Anemones.

Round-leaved Violets are everywhere on the forest floor  This one is beside the flooded Otter Creek.

The amazingly pink bog laurels was starting to bloom.

A solitary Sandpiper eyed me with his white “spectacles.”
